Axis-REIT is a real estate investment trust constituted by a Deed and principally regulated by applicable securities laws, the SC’s Guidelines on REITs, the SC’s Guidelines on Islamic REITs, the Listing Requirements of Bursa Malaysia, the rules of the depository and relevant taxation laws and rulings. On 15 June 2005, the Deed constituting Axis-REIT, was executed between Axis REIT Managers Berhad as the Manager of Axis-REIT, and RHB Trustees Berhad as the Trustee of Axis-REIT. The Deed was registered with the SC on 16 June 2005, which marked the establishment of Axis-REIT in Malaysia. Axis-REIT was thereafter reclassified as an Islamic REIT on 11 December 2008.
In Malaysia, Axis-REIT manages 39 properties. In the Northern Region, they are Bayan Lepas Distribution Centre in Bayan Lepas, Giant Hypermarket in Kedah, Seberang Prai Logistic Warehouse 1, 2, 3 in Seberang Prai ; In the Central Region, they are Menara Axis, Axis Business Campus, Axis Business Park, Axis Technology Centre, Axis Vista, Crystal Plaza, Infinite Centre, Quattro West, Strateq Data Centre, The Annex, Wisma Academy Parcel, Wisma Kemajuan in Petaling Jaya; Axis MRO Hub, Axis Shah Alam Distribution Centre 1, 2, 3 and Fonterra Headquarters in Shah Alam, Axis PDI Centre in Klang and Axis Steel Centre in Klang, Bukit Raja Distribution Centre in Klang, Emerson Industrial Facility in Nilai, Scomi Facility @ Rawang in Rawang; in the Southern Region, Axis Steel Centre in SILC, BMW Centre PTP, D8 Logistics Warehouse, Delfi Warehouse, FCI Senai, Niro Warehouse, Tesco Bukit Indah, Beyonics i-Park, Campus Block A, Beyonics i-Park, Campus Block B, Beyonics i-Park, Campus Block C, Beyonics i-Park, Campus Block D, Kerry Warehouse in Johor.
